American Maplan Corporation (AMC) has been a supplier to the chemical industry for many years and offers extrusion systems for the production of pipes with a high resistance against chemical influences as well as high impact and tensile strength.
AMC has developed a screw design that provides a typical reduction of melt temperature of up to 15 - 20 °F, while providing superior plastification.
A reduction of melt temperature extends the reaction or decomposition time significantly. Typically, a reduction of melt temperature of 15 - 20 °F can double the decomposition time of CPVC compounds.
